Welcome to Life Photos! My name is Nathanael (Natu) Zeghai.

Where are you based?

I am based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. I am open to travelling to Montreal, the Greater Toronto Area, or wherever a passport can take me.

What services do you offer?

I specialize in Wedding, Event, and Portrait Photography. In addition, you can bundle and save on my photography services with a Photo Booth rental. During the wedding off-season, I enjoy doing product photography!

How did you get into photography? 

My photography journey started when I was a kid. I’d always capture my own vacations, family events, and even local Eritrean community events. Over a decade ago, my parents gifted me my very first camera as a high school graduation gift and the rest is history. Why "Life Photos" and not "Nathanael Zeghai Photography"?  

Right now, as I sit down to write this, I’m in the middle of working on a few different projects. I’m editing photos for a couple who just celebrated the baptism of their firstborn. I’m also working with two brothers who are chasing their dream of opening a restaurant, making sure they have everything they need to get started—food photos, menu designs, and even Instagram reels. And then there’s a shoot I’m prepping for next week: a client celebrating her 30th birthday for who we’re working on a Pinterest board together to make sure her vision comes to life exactly the way she wants it.

At the end of the day, the photos are not about me, the photographer—it’s about your life and your most important moments. Your milestones, your memories, your story.
